AUGUST UPDATE

Well.. It had been a long time since I last update my blog, quite lazy and tired when I reached home and my pc has fallen sick. Let me try to recall what I've been doing for the past few months.

12 August – Today I didn’t go for volunteer work as I was going to Wilson’s baby girl full month celebration. We had bought a gift for him but the gift had not arrived when we reached so no chance to see. Was quite full after the lunch, the foods were delicious and there was cake too but I was too full to eat it so in the end, half slice of the cake ended up in the trash bag. After that, I went to One Fullerton, hoping I can book table for tonight's firework but who know the entire restaurants were fully booked. In the end, we went to Esplanade for dinner and also waited for Kate and Nic to arrive. The whole Esplanade and Fullerton were full of people, wondering what time did those people reach? The firework was so spectacular but I didn’t really like gold color, think rainbow color will be better. After the firework, we went to watch midnight movie – Ghost Game. Quite scary but didn’t really understand the ending, luckily when I reached home, my brother was playing game, if not I would start imagining things when I bath. Don’t know did Kate go crazy for the next one week after watching the movie??

9 August – Happy Birthday Singapore! Still remember that last year I went to watch NDP Preview with Angie also and time flies fast. A year had passed and this year, we got the actual day ticket!! So happy that we were able to attend the last NDP Parade at Kallang Stadium. The whole Kallang were full of people and most of them were wearing red. We took almost 30mins to walk from MRT station to Kallang Stadium, the weather was warm and I was sweating. Luckily this year there was a mini fan inside the goodies bag. This year performance didn’t seem to be as interesting as last year but I enjoyed the firework. After the parade, we meet QR for dinner at Changi Village. Maybe due too much sweating and tiredness so I didn’t have much for dinner. Went to bed around 12plus, super tired!!

8 August – Meet Joan, Kate and Nic for KTV session but the couple were late due to Kate had some unclear works and need to finish before she could leave. Joan and I went Sakae for dinner first; if not later we got no strength to sing. The couple reached around 9plus and we passed our mic to them cos both of us had been singing for the past 1hrs plus. Too bad due to some personal reason, Angie couldn’t join us.

JULY UPDATE

26 July – After work, Zoey met me for dinner at Far East and I was late due to the meeting. Long time didn’t catch up with her so I guess she miss me, that’s why she wanted to meet me for dinner. After dinner, we went to CK Tangs and Taka cos she needs to buy a perfume, I recommended her a perfume and she liked it very much. Actually I liked this perfume very much but too bad it’s for guy. We went home after our shopping as we need to work tomorrow.

21 July – Today was my company TGIF and our boss said she had a surprised for us and the surprised was – Speed Boat Ride. Don’t think I will ever try this cos each ticket cost $50 per pax but luckily this was our TGIF event so it’s free. Quite excited and fun but our body was full of salt, a bit wet and sticky even thought we wore the raincoat. After the TGIF, I rushed down to Hyatt Hotel to meet QR and his gang for the poolside BBQ dinner. Not much foods for me to eat cos I’m too picky and also I’m quite full as I had a cheesecake and coffee after the Speed Boat Ride. After our dinner we went to New Asia Bar to continue their drinking session. But at around 1plus, they all cannot make it so we went home.

14 July – Today was Joan’s birthday but too bad she didn’t meet me this morning so can’t pass our present to her. After work, I went to meet my ex-colleagues for dinner; actually it was a farewell dinner to SUZ cos he’s returning to Japan soon. I was quite hungry when I reached there cos Leo and I were late so we quickly had some foods and soup first. We went home after the dinner as Suz need to be home early to do his packing.

8 July - As usual, I went NUH for volunteer till 1pm and then meet QR. We had dinner appointment with his friends in the evening so we went Orchard for window shopping first before meeting them. We went to Paragon Sushi Tei for dinner and then followed by KTV. I noticed that some of his friends don’t sing and it was so boring going KTV with them or maybe I’m not used to it. Went home after our KTV, today was a tiring day!

25 June - My cousin (Ah Girl) wedding day, planned to stay overnight at her house on sat but because we don’t want to bring our barang barang so we didn’t stay. Reached her house around 11am and we were just in time for those ‘games’. After all those tea ceremony and photo taking, we left her house and proceed to her in-law house and then to the hotel. Finally we reached the hotel at around 3plus; we took a short rest then get changed for the night. We took lots of photos at the hotel and had fun too. The foods were quite nice and most importantly were the deco of the ballroom – look great! Went straight home after the dinner, luckily I had applied leave on the following day so I don’t need to sleep so early. I went to bed after I uploaded those photos.
