HISTORY OF 2005

Time flies fast, today is the last day of Year 2005 and everyone are waiting to countdown for Year 2006. Lots of things seem liked just happened yesterday, it' just like a blink of eyes and the year had come to an end. This year really passed very fast, I' not very satisfied with this year's result and also not a very good year for me too so I hope that Year 2006 will be a better year for me.

Today was a happy day for me, I got my bonus and more than what I had expected. Thinking of buying a new hp but the phone (Nokia N71) that I wanted to buy still not launched yet. After work, I went to meet Pat, Kelly and MY to celebrate Pat's birthday. We had a wonderful dinner, went straight home after our dinner cos we were all quite tired.

Woke up quite early today, got myself prepared and carried two big bags of things needed for tonight celebration and went to Angie's house to celebrate X'mas. Meet Angie at Bt Panjang Plaza to buy some fruits for our salad. Started our dinner at around 7pm, our chef for tonight was Nick!! Kate had organized some games for us to play after our dinner and of cos there were forfeits too. We exchanged present after the games section, I got Nick's present and Joan got my present. Hope that Joan will like my present. Thought that everyone would stay till very late but who knows all left around 1am. I had an enjoyable night. MERRY X'MAS to everyone out there!!

Today was Christmas Eve; guess everywhere will be very crowded. Meet MY in the morning, we went bugis to buy the bus ticket to Malacca. We will be attending Rachel's wedding at Malacca on the 07-Jan-06, quite excited cos this will be the first time that I attend wedding outside Sin. There were so many people at Bugis, didn't really like to shop when we saw so many ppl. It was raining cats and dogs while we were on our way back to JE. The floors and roads were flooded; luckily I wore quarter pant and slipper but I still got wet. Together with Kelly, Steven, MY and Chan, we went Bali Thai for dinner. We went to watch Narnia after our dinner, actually I just watched this show last night together with Leo but I found the was show quite nice so I didn't mind watching for the second time.

Today was 5566's third time concert in Singapore but this year was held at Expo. As usual, I went to watch the concert with Kate. The Expo Hall was much smaller than Indoor Stadium; think not even half of Indoor Stadium's size. Although this was not the first time that I went to their concert but I could still feel the excitement inside my heart. The concert supposed to start at 8.00pm but they were late again, started at 8.20pm. All people stood up when they came out, so we followed cos we couldn't saw a thing when they stood up. This would never happen at I.S!! Finally I know what that green hand was for when Tony asked us to sing birthday song for Shao Wei. Frankly speaking, I was quite disappointed with this year concert; I preferred the 1st year Da He Cha, 2nd year performance. But overall I enjoyed myself; shouted till my throat pain on the next day. The concert ended around 11.45pm, almost the same as last year. Oh ya, there were 2 ugly creatures sitting behind us, I just wanted to borrow the green hand from them and got 'suan' from them. So angry!!

COMPANY EVENT

Thursday was a busy day cos my company would shut down after 3pm due to our company's event. We would be having our company dinner at Fullerton Hotel, Wow! My first time to Fullerton Hotel (like mountain tortoise!), we would be having western buffet. Together with Jasmine, we left the office around 3+ and we went to Lucky Plaza to do our hair. Shit! After I left the office then I realized that I forgot to take my handphone, luckily Jane was still in the office. Went straight to Jasmine's house after doing our hair, had a quick bath and put on some light make up. Reached the ballroom at around 6.45pm, dinner would be starting at 7.30pm so we had cocktail first. Everyone could bring their family but I couldn't cos I got no partner to bring. The foods were nice, esp the chilli prawns and mango cheesecake, there were lots of chocolate too. At around 9pm, the magic show began; the Stankey family arranged this magician show for those kids. We had our lucky draw after the magic show and the party ended around 11pm. Jane's husband drove me home, we got so many things to take, my hand was so tired. Reached home around 11+, went to bed after my shower.

We had the second part of the company's event on Friday and that was Team Building. We met Ken at Lakeside MRT station and went to Orchid Country Club together. We met 7.30am and I thought I was late but who knew, Jane and Jasmine were late too. Guess I didn't sleep well last night so had a slight headache. It started to rain heavily while we were on the way to OCC and Ken lost his way but we still managed to reach there on time. We were so hungry so we had our breakfast first before the seminar started; I was freezing inside the room cos I forgot to bring my jacket. The seminar ended at 12pm so we went for our lunch, had our lunch at the restaurant. We had the 8 courses' menu and my MD knew that I like Oat Prawn so she included this dish inside the menu, we had a scrumptious lunch. After our lunch, we went for our team building programmes. They spilt us into 2 groups, we played games, had the psychometric test and etc. The whole event ended at 6pm, I was so tired after the event.

MY UPDATE

It had been a long time since I last updated my blog, was so busy with my work for the past few weeks. Just don't know why, all of the sudden got so much orders and works to be done and had to waste my time attending the 2hrs conference meeting with Europe for the next 2 weeks due to the new system that we are going to start using from next year onwards. My neck and shoulder were getting stiffer now, think I need to go for a massage. Luckily my manager stayed near us and he drove us home everyday, without him, I think I will reach home around 8+pm. Was so tired by the time I reached home, no mood to play pc or chit chat, went straight to bed after watching tv. But I had not been sleeping well for the past few nights cos the weather was cold and I got a sensitive nose so had been waking up in the middle of the night.

Today I went to trim my hair, sick of seeing my old hairstyle so decided to go for a trim. This time round, I didn't highlight my hair, decided to highlight when chinese new year is coming. Joe said I had slimmed down, **oh no** I hate to hear people to say that. Guess I need to eat more to gain back my weight. Shopped for a while after my haircut, I didn't wish to go home so early cos there was nothing for me to do at home except watching vcd and playing pc. Had planned to go shopping with Kate today but she fell sick so the outing was cancelled. **Poor Kate** Now playing games and discussing with her about the X'mas celebration party and HK trip. Still thinking of whether I want to go HK or Taipei?

We had gathering at Angie's house again and steamboat again too. As usual, Kate and I met for breakfast then went market to buy the foods needed for tonight's steamboat. Kate and I were the one preparing those foods cos Angie needed to go out for a while to collect something. After preparing those foods, we went to the living room and watched TV, I was so tired and hungry so cooked the bowl noodle that we had bought from the NTUC. After eating the noodle, my mouth still felt itchy so ate the tidbit and etc. Joan was the last to reach but we got a mission for her and that was to wash up all the dishes after our dinner. This time round, I didn't eat much, maybe due to I ate too much tidbits in the afternoon and had stomached after eating those tidbit. After our dinner, we went to play mahjong, actually I didn't want to play cos I was tired and my mind was not working. I couldn't think of a thing when my mind was not working then just as I knew, I lost $$$ but not as much as Angie. Reached home bout 2+, went straight to bed after my shower.
